Tenute Bosco Etna Rosso "Vico" '15

The Bosco family arrived on the scene in 2010, although the estate they purchased dates back to 1669. The winery is known in particular for two contrada wines, from Piano dei Daini, in Solicchiata, and this one from Santo Spirito, in Passopisciaro. "Vico" is the top wine, a Tre Bicchieri award winner from the Gambero Rosso. Some of these vines in Santo Spirito are pre-phylloxera. A really impressive Etna Rosso, this is just starting to soften, with many years ahead of it. Incredibly complex.
