California
Today, Graham makes wines of clear Austrian influence, but they distinctly belong to the terroir of Santa Barbara. This wine is made from 100% Riesling, specifically the Geisenheim clone 239, grown at Kick-on Ranch (Santa Barbara County AVA). The wine is fermented DRY and aged in stainless steel. Graham works with two surviving sites of original Riesling plantings in California, and he has continued to make sure that it thrives just as beautifully as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in various areas of the Central Coast. The wine has ripping acidity, with great natural texture and lush, ripe citrus fruit. Only 100 cases produced.
