Sylvain Pataille Marsannay "En Clémengeots" '15

Sylvain Pataille, a self-made producer based in the village of Marsannay, in Burgundy, produces fantastic white and red wines. While his wines are well known within Burgundy circles, they still remain great values, and they are sincere expressions of Burgundy that overdeliver for their price.

The vines have been certified organic since 2008, and he uses biodynamic practices as well.  Winemaking is hands-off and gentle, with indigenous yeast fermentation, and 10 to 12 months in mostly used barrels. There’s no fining or filtering.
