Porter's Modern Classic Gin
We love this outstanding gin from Aberdeen. What is unique about it has to do as much with the process as it does the botanicals.
The three partners worked with scientists from Aberdeen University to build a vacuum still, which allowed them to cold distill at low temperatures. This allowed them to avoid heat, which can often damage delicate botanicals.
They make a range of gin, but the “Modern Classic” is what you should reach for recipes asking for a London Dry style. It is Juniper forward, but the Buddha’s Hand Citron adds a unique element. You can also use this for the essential Gin & Tonic.
