Trentino
Made from 100% Müller-Thurgau (a crossing of Riesling and Madeleine Royal), this bottling is named for the Palai vineyard, located above Faedo, in Trentino–Alto Adige. The vineyard is between 550 and 750 meters in elevation and benfits from the winds that blow to the north off Lake Garda. The soils comprise sandstone, siltstone, limestone, and dolomite.
A great balance or citrus, stone fruit, and flinty mineral notes the wine pairs well with all sorts of seafood as well as creamy pasta dishes. Think of this wine as an Italian cousin of dry Riesling!
