Meet the Winemaker: Erin Nuccio of Evesham Wood & Haden Fig, Willamette Valley, Oregon

We are excited to announce a very special winemaker tasting with Erin Nuccio from the Willamette Valley, Oregon. Erin is the winemaker and owner of Haden Fig and Evesham Wood, two of Oregon's best independent wineries. He started his career in wine retail in Washington DC, then moved to northern California to attend enology and viticulture school. With his passion for cool-climate wines and old-world styles, he decided to move to Oregon, where he had the good fortune to work with the late, great Russ Raney of Evesham Wood. Russ encouraged Eric to make his own wine at the Evesham Wood winery, which is where Haden Fig was born. Upon retirement, Russ sold Evesham to Eric, and he now is the owner and winemaker for both Haden Fig and Evesham Wood.
