Hampden Estate "Pagos Ex-Sherry Cask" Old Single Jamaican Rum (104 Proof)

Hampden Estate Pagos was born out of a partnership with the famous Bodegas Lustau in Jerez, around the idea of ageing entirely a Hampden Rum in prestigious Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez 500-liter Sherry butts. After three years, the emptied casks were ready to host the intensity of Hampden rums and were moved to the distillery.

The color, aromas and palate of Pagos are deeply imbibed with the unique woody notes of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez. In order to respect this perfect synergy with Hampden Estate's high esters profile, Pagos has been bottled at 52% ABV.

Profile: Generous, exotic, and well-balanced

Nose: Refined and typical. Wax, chocolate, apricot, sugar cane, Russian leather, mango and passion fruit.

Palate: Fine and racy. Petrol, star anise, clove, chocolate éclair and rum baba.

Finish: Balanced and persistent. Cocoa, citrus fruit, ripe apricot, quince jelly, noble wood and spicy notes.
