Sicily
Made from Nerello Mascalese sourced from the northeastern slopes of Etna in
Passopisciaro, at 600 meters above sea level. The soils are volcanic and almost sandy in some parts. The wine is fermented in concrete tanks, without maceration, after a slow pressing. It is then aged on the fine lees for eight months.
