Gallica "G" Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley '22

Made of Cabernet Sauvignon (with about 18% Cabernet Franc), this bottling is fresh, youthful, and inviting, while still showing the serious side of Cabernet. The openness of the 2022 vintage allowed for less oak cooperage, small alternative fermenters, and a whole-cluster carbonic lot. The wine was matured in both large format barrels and stainless steel. Bottled in June 2024, without fining or filtration. California Certified Organic Farming.

Aromas of red and dark cherry and blackberry, cassis, blood orange, and rose, with notes of mint, cedar, and mocha. It's full bodied without feeling heavy on the palate, with ripe, polished tannins and refreshing acidity.
