Domaine Hauvette "Dolia" Blanc I.G.P. Alpilles '22

A white field blend from the same parcel each year, “Dolia” is composed of equal parts Roussanne , Marsanne, and Clairette, and the vines are about 25 years old. It is fermented and aged in cement eggs.

Perhaps one of the most fascinating and perfect white Rhône varietal white wines I've ever had. It has the richness, stone fruit notes, you might expect. Yet there is so much more! Mineral galore, wild spice notes, and a long, complex finish. So good! Alaskan king crab legs and a bottle of Dolia, that's luxury!
