Do Ferreiro Albariño '23

The Do Ferreiro Albariño is a blend of fruit from different areas of the Salnés Valley, and in many ways defines the winery’s overall style. The vines range in age from 20 to 120-plus years, grown in soils of decomposed granite and sand (sábrego). Fermentation is carried out naturally, with a pied de cuve from the winery’s historic Cepas Vellas vineyard, followed by aging on the fine lees for six to nine months in stainless steel tanks, without bâtonnage. It’s so well made and balanced, it can age for a decade or more.
