Clusel-Roch "Les Schistes" Côte-Rôtie '21

Made with over 95% Syrah from selection massale, and around 5% Viognier that is coplanted. The average vine age is 20 years old, from 3.5 hectares in the lieu-dits of Viallière, Champon, and Le Plomb. The soils are ferrous mica schist. Certified organic. Manual harvest and sorting. Grapes are fed into tank by gravity, partially destemmed, and fermented with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged for two years in oak barrels (15% new) and bottled without filtration.
