Clusel-Roch "Grandes Places" Côte-Rôtie '21

Made from 100% Syrah from selection massale, with an average vine age of 80 years, from 1 hectare in the Grandes-Places. The soils are iron and mica-schist. Certified organic. Manual harvest and sorting. Grapes are transferred to tank by gravity, partially destemmed, and fermented with their indigenous yeasts. The extraction is purposefully gentle, and the wine is aged for two years in oak barrels (25% new). Bottled without filtration.
