Benoît Lahaye Brut Nature Champagne NV (Disg. 12/24)

Benoît Lahaye is a tiny, benchmark grower estate based in Bouzy (Grand Cru), Montagne de Reims, farming just 4.8 hectares split mainly between Bouzy, Ambonnay, and a small slice of Tauxières. The vineyards are worked organically with biodynamic principles.

Brut Nature NV is the estate’s flagship non-dosage Champagne: typically 90% Pinot Noir / 10% Chardonnay, largely from Bouzy (about 80%) with Ambonnay (about 20%), on brown chalk with vines averaging roughly 35 years. A portion of reserve wine (around 40%) adds depth, and the base wine is raised in barrel before bottling. Disgorged 12/2024 with zero dosage, it’s a precise, terroir-driven Brut Nature—clean, mineral, and built for the table.
