Agrapart "Exp. 19" Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature Grand Cru

Domaine Agrapart & Fils is a benchmark grower estate based in Avize (Grand Cru), Côte des Blancs, farming roughly 12 hectares of predominantly Chardonnay across top Grand Cru sites (centered on Avize, with key holdings in neighboring Grand Cru villages). The viticulture is sustainable and organic-minded, with an emphasis on living soils and low-intervention farming to let chalk terroir speak clearly.

“Exp. 19” Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature Grand Cru is Agrapart’s ultra-purist “Experience” cuvée, made only in years when the fruit and must are strong enough to complete the entire process using grapes alone. It’s built from old-vine Grand Cru Chardonnay, centered on Avize (often incorporating a selection of the estate’s top lots), and bottled while primary fermentation resources are preserved so the wine can be taken fully dry without dosage. Crucially, the second fermentation is started with fresh grape juice from the following harvest—rather than added sugar and commercial yeast—resulting in a strikingly natural, chalk-driven Brut Nature that’s all about precision and texture.
