For this Producer Profile, we take you to Italy and to the region of Tuscany. Chianti Classico is having its moment. There is a new energy in the region in large part thanks to a new generation of farmers and winemakers.
Angela Fronti began her journey as winemaker in 2009, producing at the time just 250 cases of Chianti Classico. Today, the estate has grown, and she makes 4 different Chianti Classico, as well as an amphora white, a rosé and a Merlot. The new vintages of Istine are on the water, en route to Chicago. We will taste through the entire line-up of exciting wines.
