Inchmurrin Scotch Whisky Highland Single Malt, 12-Year

The well balanced, clean malt Whisky comes from Loch Lomond, located in the Highland region, just minutes from Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. The distillery dates back to 1966, but did fall dormant in 1984 before being purchased, restored, and producing again in 1987. One of the most unique elements of Loch Lomond lies in their pot stills, where they have special distillation trays in the cylindrical neck of the still. This allows greater contact with the cooling alcohol vapor, and allows them to produce alcohol up to 90% ABV. This allows them to highlight different flavor notes through the range of alcohol strengths.

Loch Lomond 12 year old is a perfect representation of our signature style, delivering delicious notes of peach and pear, layered with vanilla sweetness and a gentle hint of smoke on the finish. This is bottled at 46% ABV.
