Domaine Pellé "Morogues" Menetou-Salon Blanc '21

At the far eastern end of the Loire Valley, Morogues is in the Menetou-Salon appellation, and its wines are similar to those of Sancerre. Made from Sauvignon Blanc, this bottle from Domaine Pellé is a blend of seven parcels from the highest slopes of the appellation, with Kimmeridgian marl soils. The average vine age is 25 years old. The wiine is fermented in stainless steel vats, then aged on the lees predominately in stainless steel vats and with a small portion in wooden vats and casks.
