The wine was fermented with 40% whole cluster and 5% Viognier and raised in a combination of 500-liter and 228-liter barrels with just the slightest kiss of oak. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMedium-bodied, “Winds of Change” shows Syrah’s classic notes—red and dark berries, graphite, lavender, peppercorn spice, and anise—and the energy so often missing from other bottlings of the variety.
