    Antoine Sunier Régnié '20

    Beaujolais

    Antoine Sunier Régnié '20

Régnié came late to the party, promoted to Cru status in 1988. Antonie Sunier produces wine in both Régnié and Morgon, having purchased vineyards in 2014. He is the younger brother of Julien Sunier, another top domain in Beaujolais. This bottle of Régnié comes from two lieux-dits, Les Forchets and Le Potet, and the average age of the vines is 45 years. Whole cluster, carbonic, aged mainly in used Burgundy barrels as well as concrete. Aromatically more on the dark fruit side, with spice and flowers, and very well balanced.
