Winemaker Angela Osborne focuses on one grape, Grenache, and each of her wines is made with fruit sourced from a single vineyard. Originally from New Zealand and now based in Santa Barbara, she works with vineyards in different parts of California, in pursuit of making the best expressions of Grenache. The fruit she uses for this rosé is from the vineyard where she first sourced Grenache, the high-desert Santa Barbara Highlands vineyard, which she describes as providing “the perfect balance of heat and light.” A standout in the sea of annually released rosés, enjoy this one on its own or try it with anything fresh off the grill—seafood, red and white meats, and veggies.
